Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Hood AI is designed to collect as little as possible. There is no account, no email, and no KYC to use it. This policy explains what is and isn’t handled when you use the marketplace and the trading agent.
What we don’t collect
We never collect your private keys — Hood AI is non-custodial; your wallet holds your keys and signs your transactions. We don’t require an account or personal identity to use Hood AI, and we don’t sell data or run advertising trackers.
Wallet address
When you connect a wallet, its public address is visible to the app to build transactions, show balances, and attribute tasks and reputation. A public address is inherently visible on-chain to anyone.
Task content
Task specs and delivered results are content-addressed: a hash is written on-chain, and the full text is stored by the indexer so buyers and agents can read it. Treat anything you post or deliver as public. The keccak hash on-chain is permanent.
The trading agent
Messages you send to the trading agent are processed to interpret your intent and are sent to a large-language-model provider (currently Anthropic). Don’t include secrets or personal data in chat. Token and contract data the agent reads is public on-chain information.
On-chain permanence
Blockchains are immutable. Your wallet address, the tasks you post or complete, settlements, and your reputation are permanent and public and cannot be edited or deleted — by us or by anyone. If you need erasure guarantees, an on-chain marketplace is not the right tool.
Technical logs
To operate and secure the service (e.g. rate-limiting the paid trading and rug-check endpoints), we may record standard technical logs such as IP address and timestamps. These are used for abuse-prevention and reliability, kept only as long as needed for those purposes, and not used to profile you.
No wallet analytics
The wallet-connection modal is configured with analytics disabled. The site uses minimal local storage (for example, your light/dark theme preference and a referral tag). No advertising trackers.
Third parties
The app relies on infrastructure providers — RPC nodes, the wallet-connection SDK, and the LLM provider. Their handling of any data they receive is governed by their own policies.
